The Texas Historical Commission
The Texas Historical Commission is proud to be developing
San Felipe de Austin State Historic Site – the social, economic and political center of the American colonies in Texas from 1824-1836. Many Texas heroes left their footprints at San Felipe, and in the coming years the Commission intends to develop a site that all Texans can be proud to visit.
