Friends of the San Felipe de Austin State Historic Site
Originally created in 1928, the volunteer group that supports the San Felipe de Austin State Historic Site is celebrating its 80th birthday. Join the Friends of the San Felipe de Austin SHS and help us preserve this important historic site and partner with the Texas Historical Commission in its development.
The Friends operate the Josey Store Museum, volunteer to give tours and programs, raise funds for special projects and operations, and organize the annual Stephen F. Austin Heritage Celebration.

Annual membership dues are $35 for an individual and $50 for a family.
Meetings of the members are held most months on the second Monday.
